Ubuntu in Windows 7

Yep, I am running Ubuntu 64-bit inside of Windows 7. Why? So I can take advantage of the open source community. I am attempting to learn and run OpenFoam which is an open source CFD code. Unfortunately, it only runs in a Linux environment. So I am attempting to run OpenFoam in Windows 7.

There it is, Ubuntu in Windows 7. I am using VMware Player (free) to create a virtual computer in Windows. So far so good, we'll see when I attempt to run OpenFoam. I set up the virtual environment so it can run on 2 of my 4 cores and take half my ram, 2 gigs. I might need to add more ram in the future.
